Adelaide Jade Regent
Early the next morning, Theibar will venture out of the townstead to investigate the surrounding area. Upon discovering a small stream, field of flowers or the like, he will return to the others and invite Koya on a ride. Theibar will escort Koya back to the stream/field to share tea and breakfast. Theibar would have searched the area for suitable leaves for tea and an assortment of fruits, berries and nuts to share.
After a long conversation of who this area has reminded Theibar of a similar place he had journeyed through before settling in Sandpoint, Theibar will expose his true intentions for their seclusion from the others.
“Lady Koya, please do not misinterpret this meal as a romantic advance. I wanted the opportunity to talk with you in private regarding the predictions you made period to our departure from Sandpoint. The prediction for you has caused some unrest among our troupe, as I am sure it has had a greater effect upon yourself. There is an Elven tradition whereby we seek what is called the Brightening; a profound but personal understanding of the universe within our own alignment. For myself, it would come in the form of a greater bond with this world’s natural aspect. I tell you this because I believe that your divination possibly foretells of your own achievement in a Brightening state. My lady Koya, when it comes time for this truth to be revealed to you, I hope you understand that you will be achieving a higher state that all Elves search for, but many never succeed in finding. It may give you no comfort in know, but I wanted to express my unwavering respect and affection for you. Though we have lived as neighbours for almost 20 years now and have not developed our association beyond that of acquaintances, I have always considered you to be a unique soul, wise beyond the confines of your race, with an insight that surpasses any others I have met till now. When it comes time, I pray that Desna’s swiftness guides your soul on its journey through the afterlife.”
